TRUFFLE HUNT & Food Tasting,visit of St.Pietro in Valle Abbey

Morning activity and light lunch. 

This tour is built around the most precious and popular ingredient of local cuisine, the black truffle. You will partecipate to a truffle hunt demonstration. Trained dogs will search for the so called "Black Diamond" following the traces of its intense flavour.

Then there will be the chance to taste food specialties from Valnerina (the valley of Nera River) at a local restaurant.

Tour will also feature a visit to the marvellous Abbey of San Pietro in Valle, a site full of mysticism dating back to VII century. The Church of the Abbey features important frescoes and artifacts such as Roman marble coffins, bas-reliefs in Longobard style and precious frescoes dating back to the XII century.
